PSA: You get to sleep longer on New Year's Eve

As I mentioned on the 4th of July when I got the news, there'll be a leap second (2005-12-31T23:59:60) introduced between 2005-12-31T23:59:59 and 2006-01-01T00:00:00.

That's at midnight UTC, so it'll be midnight for people in the UK, 1 a.m. for Germany, and somewhere between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the contiguous US states.
