I just had no idea how to find out how far that is. However, a Munich->Florida flight seems to be 8,000 kilometers, so I was pretty far off, wasn't I?

(Though the flight was actually to New York, which is 6,500 kilometers, so maybe the only 6 hours flight confused me ;))

I measured by creating a map in google maps and inserted a straight line - it automatically shows the length of the line.
