Oh, out of curiosity: I wonder whether you ever saw many of the websites he's parodying? I can imagine that when you stated using the Web, most of that kind of thing had already gone out of fashion.
Or in other words: in case you didn't know, lots of personal websites used to look like that.

I guess I wasn't sure at what age your parents would let you loose on the Internet... I got the impression that they were fairly protective, at least in some respects, so it wouldn't have surprised me to find out you only got on a couple of years ago.
