Of Amy G. and Isabeau (or: who said dreams had to make sense?)

Tonight, I dreamed I was in California, so I thought I'd pay [livejournal.com profile] isabeau a visit.

When she let me in, she was on the phone, so I had a look around. I saw three girls playing on the floor of her flat: Amy, Taya, and another girl I didn't recognise. I thought that my aunt in Germany was looking after the girls, but apparently, she had "subcontracted" the task out to Isabeau.

Since [livejournal.com profile] fishgreenlittle lived right next door (never mind that she's in an entirely different state IRL...), I thought I'd visit her next, but then she came over to Isabeau's place first. She was about 45 years old, which surprised me.

I think there was more bizarrity involved, but that's all I can remember in the morning.

Wow. I've almost doubled my age without realizing it! This isn't good. I wonder if the girl you didn't recognize is my daughter, older as well?!

I love weird dreams, they're such fun to try to figure out.

I think she was about the same age as Taya, so about three or four. Is that about double Zoë's age? :)

It's about triple or quadruple. It's a dream, so it's possible! If I were 45, a 3 or 4 year old would make more sense than an almost 2 year old.

Oh, and -- thank you very much for your card, which arrived yesterday!

And thanks for writing in German :) That way, Stella could read it herself, too.

Bitte schön! Ich gerne auf Deutsch schreiben. Es ist sehr schwer, aber habe ich nicht so viel vergessen.

What language were people speaking? If it were to be Klingon, I would say that is the extra bizarreness factor right there. Like when my mom speaks anything besides English in my dreams and acts like it's totally normal, if she did that IRL I would have a heart attack I think.
