Especially since my main computer is on the fritz, and I haven't got around to reinstalling it yet.
If you have Jabber (or LJ Talk or Google Talk), you could add pne@jabber.ccc.de, though -- I'm usually logged into that when I'm at work because I use Jabber to communicate with my co-workers.
That Jabber server used to have an AIM transport which would let me talk to AIM users and vice versa, but they shut that down a while ago.
Still, thanks! And should I get the computer with Gaim/Pidgin running again, I might be on again.
Well, I've got Gmail chat (that default chat app in the mail page), if that's what you were referring to...otherwise, I have no other messengers. :( Is the Gmail chat okay for you? :D
I was wondering...I've been wanting to talk with you about languages for some time now (which is kind of what spawned my comment a few days ago about messaging you), but I can't get Jabber set up (I'm pretty stupid with things like Jabber/IRC/etc). :\ Do you have another way we could chat for a bit?
Okay, I tried to set up Pidgin on my work laptop, and I should be logged in to all of the accounts listed on my profile page now.
Bear in mind that I probably won't be able to have Pidgin on when I'm at work, since they have a proxy there (no direct IP connectivity), and also the time zone difference (I'm at UTC+2 right now, or 7 hours ahead of CDT).
Give it a try! I'll try to remember to start Pidgin whenever I'm online from the laptop at home.

Say, I added your AIM name to my buddy list (my AIM is injaeia), so next time you log on, I might end up sending you a message or three. :D
pne and AIM
Only I basically never log onto AIM :)
