In Germany, at least, yes: it almost certainly referred to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RTL_Television .

I have watched that channel on television before, but I also had to stop and think "wait, what? what could it mean if not right to left?" But I remembered the tv channel before I saw your comment.
