Yesterday the clocks were changed. Guess who forgot all about it?

So, no "extra hour of sleep" for Stella and me. Instead, we got woken up by her clock radio to the announcement "This is the five o'clock news".

Five? Oh, right, there was this DST thing. Darn.

Isn't it actually "One o'clock, One o'clock"? At least here, clocks usually change from 1:59am to 1:00am.

Two o'clock over here; clocks go from 02:59:59 to 02:00:00 (local time).

Or, to be more precise, they go from 01:59:59 to 01:00:00 UTC -- apparently, DST rules in the EU or tied to UTC rather than local time (according to how I read the tzdata file).

"Three o'clock" was a thinko; it's apparently only three o'clock once even on the change date.
