Heh heh, of course! I just uploaded my Pictures/Icons/Main/Favourite/Best - Folder [don't ask.. the icons on my harddrive could supply whole LiveJournal ~_^] until I hit the limit.. which I then found out was FIFTY. Bwhaha. 50 iconses. *pets*

Though once you get used to it, you'll have to find money to support your fix... if you let your paid time and/or the extra userpics package expire, you can no longer use some of your userpics until you renew.

Briefly, your default icon stays active, as do the n most-used ones in top-level posts in your journal.

*nods* I think it wasn't always like that.

And in a way, it's not like other features (e.g. custom styles or mood themes), which you can still use but not edit if you paid time expires. But on the other hand, it's kind of unfair if a free user gets to use a different number of userpics depending on whether he was ever paid or not. Or something.

Well, I mean I'd say someone who was paid once should maybe still be allowed to keep a few more.. but yeah, I mean it's a lot of strain on the servers I guess..Either way, I am fine so far! heh. ^^

By the way, if you're an active support volunteer on LiveJournal, you often don't have to worry about paid time because of the Paid Account Fairy who visits volunteers who have I2 or SH privs and gives them all two months of paid time every now and then.

(Not sure whether it's every two months or more or less often.)

So maybe it's an incentive to start support here again? :D

No, I'm not.

Personally, I think it's a pity, and probably a loss for LiveJournal as well, but I respect your decision. (Even if I don't quite agree with your reason.)

I also think, though, that if you changed your mind in the future, people here wouldn't hold a grudge against you.
