Monday, 16 December 2002 10:03Yesterday I finally got around to writing some Christmas cards. A novel concept for me since I've been pretty lazy at writing the last three or four years :)
So I didn't have a prepared list of people to write to. I went through my email contacts folder to see for whom I had a postal address there. That helped me make a list.
Roads and pavement ("sidewalks" for Usonians) are pretty slippery today, due to the rain which froze on contact with the ground. But I managed to get to work unharmed and the busses even ran pretty much on time. (I had expect worse, from past experience. Maybe the bus drivers agreed to hold off on the chaos until the first real snow falls; that always seems to throw everything into disorder.)
