Heard it on the radio this morning; America attacked Iraq (as all of you have undoubtedly read all over the place by now).

I wonder what to expect now; I hope that, whatever it is, it'll be over soon.

Friends-only entries

A while back on IRC, someone said something along the lines of "people who post friends-only entries are self-important and pretentious".

That got me thinking... there are probably many reasons why people choose to post things friends-only. I thought I'd make a poll to find out.

I can imagine that people might not want to have everyone else know why they choose to post friends-only entries, so I'm making answers visible to "none". However, I left a question in the poll "Is it OK if I announce your answers by name?"; if you answer "Yes" or "Only if it's a friends-only post" to that, then I may give your answers in a future post. Then those who don't mind if others know their reasons can choose "Yes" and those who would prefer otherwise can choose "No"; then random people will only see the aggregate statistics but who chose what.
