Whee... I have 7 support points now!

OK, it's not that many, but last time I checked, I had only two... and I guess with support points it's like babies or a marriage; when they're young, you count every week, then every month, and only when the baby has grown older or you've been married longer, you count every year or so.

So my first few points are all special and I'm happy about each single one... maybe when I have 50 I'll start counting the 10's instead.

Ah—thanks to the LJ Support Office I can see where they've come from; I got three points from this request alone, which explains the high score. I was rather surprised since I hadn't expected more than four or five, which is what I would have had without that request.

Stella decided she'd get creative today and draw a picture.

In order to make it look nice, she decided she'd base it on an existing image—and since computer images are composed of pixels, she thought she'd take an image that already was composed of individual "cells". She settled on a cross-stitch cushion cover she had stitched (embroidered?) once, with a picture of a dolphin.

I helped her with parts as well. She decided after a while she rather liked Paint Shop Pro (which I made her use) compared to MS Paint… so many more possibilities.

At the magnification she drew it at, it looked fairly large (we had to zoom in to make it easier to set individual pixels, after all). But when it was scaled down, it was only 72×72 pixels :)

So, since it's fairly small, I thought I'd use it as one of my userpics. What do you think of it?
