I opened my email this morning to find a message from the LiveJournal Friends monitor.

Hm, friended by [livejournal.com profile] sparkofcreation… never heard of him/her. Ignore them. Scroll down… ack! [livejournal.com profile] jerzeegrrl unfriended me! What did I do to her? *ponder*

Wait one. Maybe she just changed her name.

Fortunately, LJFM emails are helpful in that they include interests and community memberships of people who have friended you.

*glances briefly over interests* hm, español… interpretación judicial… ah, that's probably [livejournal.com profile] jerzeegrrl then. (Looking at the community memberships probably would have been faster in this case, actually, but interests come first in the email.) *phew*

Sometimes I wish people wouldn't change their usernames; it always tends to confuse me :)

(Although people changing their default userpic after having kept one for a long time can also be a bit challenging sometimes. I think I just like having things stay the same. Fortunately, Stella doesn't constantly rearrange the living room furniture the way I've heard some other women do.)

This entry is autoformatted. This is the first paragraph.

This is the second paragraph. There is a blank line in between.

This is the third paragraph. It is rather long in order to test some stuff. 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God. 1:3 All things were made through him. Without him was not anything made that has been made. 1:4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 1:5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn't overcome it. 1:6 There came a man, sent from God, whose name was John. 1:7 The same came as a witness, that he might testify about the light, that all might believe through him. 1:8 He was not the light, but was sent that he might testify about the light. 1:9 The true light that enlightens everyone was coming into the world.

This is the fourth paragraph to see what happens after long paragraphs. There are two blank lines before this paragraph. This paragraph is also a bit longer than one (80-character line). I managed this by adding some words to it.

This entry is not autoformatted. Rather, I use explicit HTML [p] tags to format it. However, I also include blank lines. This is the first paragraph.

For some reason, I was wandering around the support area of the test server and had a look at the highscores list.

It amused me no end that [livejournal.com profile] rahaeli brought up the end of the list with one sole support point; the thought was simply so incongruous :)
