Amy and the wild geese

Along with Sims 2, we ordered Amy und die Wildgänse (Fly Away Home; literally, "Amy and the Wild Geese") on DVD from Amazon, since that was one of the reasons Stella chose the name "Amy" for our daughter.

We only ordered yesterday, but the game and DVD were already there today. I've installed the game (but not played it; defragmenting the hard disk in preparation took up quite a bit of time), then we watched the film.

Kind of nice, though the suspense was a bit disconcerting for me near the end where the bulldozers wanted to flatten the bird sanctuary.

Truth is stranger than fiction

Having a baby before you're even six years old must be a strange experience.
