The Internet connection at the hotel

I came here this week prepared to swear under my breath because the Internet connection (WLAN) here at the hotel keeps randomly dropping.

Which is especially annoying when you're typing a LiveJournal comment in a QuickReply box (or whatever they're called) and the connection goes away without your realising it -- and pressing the Back button gives you an empty box; your lovely comment completely gone. Fortunately, opening a "proper" comment box will take care of that, providing you remembered to do so.

However, the connection has been stable all evening so far! Not sure whether it's because I'm in a different room (closer to the Access Point? But signal strength was supposed to be good!), not so many people on the net, random luck, or what, but hm.
