Looking for the missing link

I was going to look on Google for instructions for getting my favourite Linux email client, Ximian/Novell Evolution, to run on MacOS/Darwin using X windows (I know it can be done).

Strangely, Googling on "evolution darwin" produced a lot of unhelpful links ...
