Random memory: Zen garden in Munich hotel
Monday, 24 May 2010 21:20I was at the Arabella Sheraton hotel for a Java conference twice (well, the conference took place there; I didn’t stay at the hotel), and I remember that on the basement floor, where the main conference rooms where, there was also a door leading to a small enclosed space that was open to the air and which housed a Japanese Zen garden.
I found that an interesting thing to have at a hotel, but I imagine there were guests who appreciated it as a place to relax or meditate, or perhaps just to enjoy the beauty.
