A short fairy tale
Friday, 28 October 2005 16:58Once upon a time, near the far-away country of Austlaria, there was an island group called New Zearand.
It was inhabited chiefly by a group of people who called themself Māoli; however, over the years more and more Europeans moved in and displaced the Māoli from their ancestral areas.
In the end, they decided to call the island "Aotealoa", which in their language means "Land of the Wrong White Crowd".
The end.
