Scanned images of a German book on where babies come from.

Most of each page is a picture, so you can follow along even if you know no German.

Warning: almost certainly NSFW! (Shows various body parts involved in making and bearing babies. Drawn, though, in a slightly cartoon-ish style, not photographed.)

Damn, even my high school sex ed classes weren't that graphic...

Is it normal for German parents to be that frank with their children?

Stella said, "We're not getting that book". So that's a "no".

We have Peter, Ida und Minimum, which she rather likes - also sex ed for children, but rather less graphic. (A translation of a Swedish book, I believe.)

I glanced quickly at the doctor holding the stethoscope, and I thought it was a wrench! What he would have done with that is beyond me.
