Online nikkah, or purporting to be the transcript of an MSN conversation in which two Muslims got married by instant messaging.

Complete with slang along the lines of "first thing iz we need yo hunny bunny 2 leave da chat window" (mostly on the part of the "Imam").

I'm not sure what to think, but given that I've heard that there are marriages-by-telephone in some parts of the Islamic world (Bangladesh? Pakistan?), who knows whether someone thinks that kind of thing is permissible and valid.

Hm, the FAQ says that it's all poking fun at practices among Muslims but that are not from Islam, and he considers online marriage not to be legal.
