Letter from America^WFriedrichsdorf
Monday, 10 March 2003 19:52This week is Hamburg stake temple week, and Stella and I went along with her aunt Gesa, who came over from Berlin on Sunday evening.
We took the train this morning, changing at Friedberg. The route used to be served by InterRegio trains, but Die Bahn is apparently trying to get rid of them all.
At any rate, they now have InterCity trains on that route, but they stop as frequently as did the InterRegio trains, so I'm not sure what that's all about.
I passed the time in the train by reading news I had synced this morning. By the way, when I switched my PDA off at one point, I saw that the display was fairly badly scratched in geometric patterns suggesting it happened while I was playing chess against Debby on Saturday; it's probably the fault of the alternative stylus I used. Bummer, since it's supposed to be used with PDAs and I hadn't any protective covering on the screen, so it's the "real" screen that's scratched.
Very tired now; it's been a long day. Good night!
