Daddy's 70th birthday

It was my Daddy's 70th birthday on Monday, so we had a little family get-together yesterday at our place.

Jennifer and Kay came up from Wuppertal and spent the week-end here, so all the children were there. (My father's wife couldn't be there, though, since she was still in hospital following hip surgery.)

Some pictures in my Flickr account, including a couple of family pictures where I look incredibly dorky and stiff.

We also got to see Jennifer's baby belly :) She's due in about six weeks' time.

It's amazing to see what sort of toys have staying power. I had that same camper trailer toy that Amy is playing with in one of the photos.

We got it (and several other Fisher-Price toys) from eBay out of nostalgia, since both Stella and I had also played with those toys as a kid!

I've no idea whether they still sell them in shops these days.
