I think that "Rebecca" is a beautiful name. It makes me smile when I see someone by that name.

(It was also a candidate for our daughter's name for a while.)

That's my sister's name, so I'm much too close to it to have an objective opinion.

It's my first daughter's name. She's a stunningly bright and attractive 20-year-old now attending university in Scotland for her third year. She's studying classics, of all things (yes, Latin and ancient Greek), on a kind of exchange thingy following two years at UBC.

She's also as tall as I am (185 cm/6'1") but, fortunately, only about half my weight.

Anyhow, you can guess from the beaming above how I feel about the name....

I like the name anyways.
