Being recognised

I stayed at the Tryp Hotel last night after not having done so in quite a while (I hadn't been in Wolfsburg for a bit, and before that, I stayed at the Park Hotel for several weeks in a row).

However, the lady at the reception recognised me and greeted me by name, which I found rather nice.

That would make me paranoid. Do they take pictures or do they scan your ID? Wah!
That's mostly because I absolutely cannot remember faces or names. So it's hard to believe someone who sees hundrets of people every day could remember me.

No, nothing of the sort.

I might have found it weird if I didn't know her, but I recognised the lady from many of my stays there. (I think she's even the chief receptionist, or whatever her exact title is, i.e. some kind of supervisor or something.)
