I just got pointed to this review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by kittikattie (contains spoilers, natch).

It's written as a running commentary -- so bits and pieces, each written down just after she had read something or other.

I found it an amusing read. Obviously, a fair bit makes much more sense if you've already read the story, but it could even, at a pinch, be a kind of summary.
