I just saw the acronym "JSYK" in an entry. I had never seen it before but instantly knew what it stood for from context ("It's rated 'R' JSYK."). Whee!

I was thinking of you earlier - you can understand Japanese, right (at least to some extent)? The curtains in my room have Japanese symbols on them, and I was wondering if you would be able to make any sense out of them if I sent a photograph of them or something?

Excellent! I shall make some sort of effort to get a photograph of them soon! It's only 6 symbols... the 1st and 3rd are very complicated, the second looks like an X with the top-right quarter removed. The 4th looks like a P but more like you had used a vertical line and a > to form a P with the certical line intersecting the > about halfway along. The 5th character looks like a y, and the final one looks like a square with a + in it with the vertical line extending beyond the box above and below...

That probably makes no sense whatsoever, so I'll try and sort the photo out soon! Thanks!:)
