Mareike

Went over to Mareike's with Stella this evening. Primarily to return the electronic (musical) keyboard we had borrowed from them and a bunch of children's clothing they had leant us, but it was also a good excuse for a friendly visit.

Amy had fallen asleep in the car on the way there, but as soon as she was half-way awake she was up the stairs to Merle's room already.

So Amy played with Merle and Stella and I were downstairs and chatted with Mareike and Jonas. We also ended up staying for dinner, which was nice.

It was a fun evening and I'm glad we went. It seems as if we meet one another too infrequently; as Mareike remarked, perhaps such "unplanned" meetings are easier to organise than "we should meet each other again one of these days, what date works for you?".

(Speaking of which, I had planned to visit Meike this Saturday but couldn't get hold of her today to ask whether that would work for her.)
