New keyboard
Monday, 7 April 2003 20:43Well, I have a new keyboard now: Stella asked at school and they gave her one they had spare.
It's not a Cherry brand German-made keyboard but a no-name one made in China. But it's free, and it works.
It'll take a while to get used to it since it's a different size; it's quite a bit lighter and not so deep—there's not so much space above the top row, which means that I can't grasp it in the top right-hand corner so easily since there isn't as much free space there. (I usually type with the keyboard on my knees and then lean it against the computer case when I'm done.)
Maybe I'll save up for another keyboard, but this'll do for now.
