Ugh - some of the questions were a bit confusing for me - the fact my results were what they were speak for that *grin*.
I got IIRC 100% for Unitarian Universalism
followed by Christian Scientist - urgh!

Did it again and got
Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (100%)
2. Bahai Faith (88%)
3. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (88%)
4. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (88%)

Which was pretty much as irrelevant to me *grin*

I think the quiz only works if you are really clear about the answers and often they didn't really have one I agreed with. Given my personal beliefs are a weird mix it's not surprising but it does make the point that you really can't box/categorise peoples beliefs. Even within LDS I've found fairly critical difference between USA, Canberra, Sydney and Adelaide and it's usually a lot more doctrinal than a lot of them *grin*.

Interesting reading though.

Thanks!

So, you're more Scientologist than Mormon :)

Yeah, apparently so! I've never heard of it prior to taking it, but the description sounds pretty accurate to me. If you're bored and want to take another quiz, try this one (www.selectsmart.com/MOVE) - it supposedly tells you which US state you should move to. No matter what I try (within reason), I always get New Hampshire!!!:D

I did this before and should really find the post and add it to my memories. I feel that the major flaw is that it doesn't ask you about some key religious beliefs specific to one faith. (e.g. "Do you believe Jesus was divine/a teacher/a nut/did not exist?") Unless they've changed it since I took it (6/13/02). This I cut-and-pasted from the email they sent me then. (If you're wondering, I'd been attending UU services for a few months before I got this result.)

I suppose you mean this link (http://www.selectsmart.com/MOVE/) (you forgot the "http://" in yours).

Doh! That's odd, as I pasted it from my browser - I mustn't have selected the whole line! Yes, that's the one I meant, though!

Interesting; thanks for filling that out.

What religion would you describe yourself as, if any?

Yay :)

New Jersey had been looking like an interesting place to live anyway, so I was also rather happy that it came up. (And Florida is too humid, from what I've heard.)

None, I have a load of things I wanna beleive in and things I do just because (like helping people and giving blood for good karma) - but nothing concrete.

Yeah, it can be, but I loved living there anyway (and I only lived there in the summer!). In my more frustrated moments, I say I'm going to move back there. (On the frustration scale, "moving to Florida" is somewhere between "moving to Ecuador" and "moving to DC.")
