Light rail in Salt Lake City

Huh. So SLC has a light rail line now?

I looked at Google Street View out of curiosity and saw tracks on the road and overhead wires, and Wikipedia confirms that there's a light rail system there now called TRAX.

I remember when I was there with my sister (in 1993-ish), there were just busses, and poorly-signposted ones at that. (Plus you needed exact change to ride them.)

Oh yeah, it's been here for at least 10 years. We used to catch the TRAX to ride up to Conference and avoid the traffic. Right now it still only goes from Temple Square to Sandy, and over to the University of Utah, but they talk all the time about expanding it. I hope they do - it's so much nicer than the busses.
