The other day, I thought there was something wrong with my headphone connection, since I heard a kind of click from my right while sitting at my desk (which is where I hang my headphones when I’m not using them).

Turns out it’s my new watch. Its minute hand moves every 20 seconds, making a little “tick”.

I can see that it’ll take a bit of getting used to. Perhaps the hardest bit is that it doesn’t go “tick” every second, which would probably make it easier to ignore, but only every 20 seconds. (I suppose the goal is to show whether the minute has just started or is about to end, since there’s no second hand [seconds hand?].)
