I just saw an ad that offered: “Learn BIBLICAL HERESY online with the Holy Land’s best teachers”.

Interesting ad, I thought; who offers this? “eTeachersBIBLICAL”, apparently.

Doesn’t sound very heretical… on re-reading, I found that they were offering courses in “BIBLICAL HEBREW”. Oops.

I blame the hour; my eyes weren’t fully cooperating yet.

The funny thing is, an ad for "biblical heresies" sounded plausible enough to me! Since there are people who read all *sorts* of things into (out of?) the Bible.

oh yes, i agree! in fact, it's a class i might even take myself! it actually sounds really interesting...especially if it has a historical bent.
