Postal surveys

So I just read an entry in the Postcrossing blog about a group doing postal surveys (how long mail takes to get from A to B), and asking for additional volunteers to receive letters and, upon receipt, enter some data in a web form.

Have a look at the blog entry and/or the company page linked from it and if it sounds interesting, consider signing up :)

Whether or not (and how often, if at all) you'll be chosen apparently depends at least partly on where you live (and how many volunteers they have in that area already).

Still, sounds like fun to me.
