What kind of fish do you have? I mostly keep rainbowfish and corydoras, though I do have a few others. I have this dream of having a much larger fishtank with many more varieties of rainbowfish...
You're best off asking Stella; I don't know that much about fish. What I do know, I'll tell you in German since that's the language she told me their names in, but I'll add the scientific names from her aquarium book so you can look them up. If you have problems with the German, I can repeat in English; it's just that mixing up the German names and English text seems weird to me.

*Looks up* Ah, Corydoras = Panzerwelse. We used to have a couple of those; we called them "Bodenstaubsauger" since they mostly fed off the stones and pebbles at the bottom and kept the aquarium a bit cleaner. But I think they're both gone now. I don't know whether they were Panzerwelse but they were certainly some kind of Wels (catfish).
What's a rainbowfish? The book gives, for "Regenbogenfisch", five different species names (Chilatherina, Glossolepis, Melanotaenia, Pseudomugil, Rhadinocentrus).
Normally, it's the ladies who feel the need to rearrange furniture; fortunately, Stella is considerate of me in this respect and doesn't do this, though she would sometimes like to.
I also wouldn't mind if we had no wallpaper (and, indeed, the bedroom and living-room still have none).
So you've come to the wrong address with your suggestion :)
You should move something small (a vase, a lamp, etc) and see how long it takes her to notice! My mum would notice the second she walked in the door if something had moved more than a few millimeters!
If you get very bored and have some manner of Instant Messing program, you could ramble on about perl to me!:D I never get to talk to anyone about programming and like learning new things - I'm sure you'll find more interesting things to do, though!:D
Oh, I don't think I'll be bored... I spend a fair amount of time on my own anyway. I was thinking more about the fact that I haven't cooked for myself in years :) Stella spoils me that way.
I made pancakes for the first time in ages on Sunday; they didn't turn out too bad.
I do have instant messengers on this computer (AIM and ICQ) but I hardly ever use them... never really got into the habit. And at work I have AIM as well (didn't try to get ICQ speaking through the company firewall).
