Showering was "interesting" this morning... the water was cold at the setting I normally use.

I turned the lever all the way up to the "hot" side, and it became lukewarm over the back of my hand, but it still felt cool to the rest of my body (about swimming pool temperature, I judged—feels cold at first but you could probably get used to it after about five minutes). That made my shower a bit quicker than usual :p

Personally, I blame [livejournal.com profile] jerzeegrrl; I'm convinced she did some sort of voodoo on my shower, after reading this entry of hers ;)

Hehe, interesting.. ;o You normally shower with cold water?!

Anyway. :D Hi. I'm the one who commented to this (http://insanejournal.com/support/see_request.bml?id=157) request. I must say, your comments were very informative and indeed, polite and such. The second one made my day! ;x But, it really was just a comment, which really didn't answer much. And, I'm not a big point whore or anything, so it doesn't matter.

I do, however, thank you for your generosity. ;P (I'm glad I was able to give Rob~ that IJ code to give to you, hehe!)

No, I usually shower with medium-warm water—with the lever pretty much in the middle between the "hot" and the "cold" settings. I think that generally works out to something like 35 °C / 95 °F. All-the-way-up is usually really hot; I think something like 60 °C / 140 °F.

I'm a support volunteer on LiveJournal ;). Since I started doing support, I try to be the kind of requester a support person would want to see; this includes being polite, trying to provide useful information, saying thanks after you've been helped, and closing with credit.

I do, however, thank you for your generosity. ;P (I'm glad I was able to give Rob~ that IJ code to give to you, hehe!)

The code was from you? In that case, thank you very much for it. (I'm sorry; I didn't remember who he said he'd got it from.)

I've closed the request now since the issue is finished from my point of view and you've indicated you're not desperate for the point. Makes the support board cleaner.

I hope you're not disappointed I'm not using my InsaneJournal. I created it partly for my "collection" (I have accounts on a bunch of LJ-clones) and partly because I thought I might help out on the support board of other LJ-code sites if I get bored with LJ support on a given day, so the journal will probably never see much activity as a repository for journal entries.

:D Ah, hehe..

Yeah, I kind of figured that you were a volunteer here. I never checked carefully in your full User Info, though.

Yes indeedy, it was from me. n.n It's no problem, though. Any friend of Rob~'s is welcome.

:D Yay, thanks for closing!

It's all right, though. :o Feel free to use IJ as much as you want. Yeah, I volunteer with Support almost everywhere, though I only use Blurty and IJ for my personal journals.
