I just found /dev/preed when I hit random.bml and was very impressed by his Unixy custom style.

I'd been trying to make a Unixy style as well; two attempts are a LiveJournal custom style that I started developing but didn't get that far with and a DeadJournal custom style based on the LiveJournal one but with some tweaks—for example, the LJ one is more shell-oriented, while the DJ one is more newsreader-oriented.

But I'm not entirely happy with how either of them handle the LiveJournal-specific things such as links to friends/calendar/userinfo and the comment/memory links. I like [livejournal.com profile] devpreed's style and how he deals with it.

Macintosh!

Looks a bit crappy as the icons overlap the journal entries but I'm putting that down to Opera 6; it's had similar problems before.

I'll look at it with MozFirebird when I'm back at work.

I'm impressed.

Yeah; it's probably because I used CSS absolute positioning (top; left) for the div with the icons in in order to avoid using yet another table.

I'm impressed.

Thanks :)
