Well, not quite, but I'll be off to the qepHom (small meeting of fans of the Klingon language) in Saarbrücken; I'll be leaving tomorrow morning and returning on Sunday night.

I must add the biggest help to learning thlIngan Hol for me was the language lab which came with the 'game' Star Trek: Klingon, and of course the audio tapes. (Although I suspect Michael Dorn has a really bad accent… not to mention that Roxann Dawson's US accent for me is partly unintelligible.)

Yes, I've heard that Michael Dorn's Klingon pronunciation should not be taken seriously. I also heard, though, that Roxann Dawson's accent sounded as if, what was it?, "she had read a description and tried to reproduce it as best she could without having received coaching from Okrand himself", or something like that. So, commendable at least.

But Conversational Klingon and Power Klingon have all Klingon phrases spoken by Marc Okrand himself, I believe; it's only The Klingon Way which has Dorn & Dawson.

Though even Okrand apparently hasn't mastered Klingon pronunciation perfectly (especially the r sound).
