Weeding through my spamtrap folder, I see a bunch of messages with subjects referencing the "Paris Hilton".

Anyone have any idea what the relevance of this is? Did I miss some news item that gives this hotel a connotation? Otherwise I wonder why spammers would stick that phrase into a subject line.

Paris Hilton is also the name of one of the Hilton's daughters. A video of her having sex was recently leaked to the public.

(She's also in a new US tv show about celebrities living the farm life for a while... stupid reality TV.)

Not a hotel, a person. Dirty video of her doing something. She's on the covers of tabloids and stuff. I didn't realise they weren't talking about a hotel until I saw the tabloids in the supermarket one day.

But she's a descendant of the Hilton who started the hotels, and therefore heiress to too much money which she didn't earn.
