Going from the information in the FAQ, they seem to be making quite a business from this. I wish I had brilliant ideas like that! :)

Randomly flipping through /friendsfriends (hi, pne!).

Those sites actually do end up doing pretty good business, because people are just stupid enough to send them money as a joke. More power to the designers -- that's capitalism for you! :)

It's like Origami Boulder (http://www.origamiboulder.com/) -- that guy actually gets people to buy wadded up balls of paper, simply because they find the site somehow and think it's funny.

Hi Ashley!

Ooh, thank you for that link! Looks very nifty.

Personally, I've got my heart set on an ACME Klein Bottle (http://www.kleinbottle.com/) (guaranteed zero volume -- you can check using the optional calibration decal (http://www.kleinbottle.com/calibrated_klein_bottles.htm) marked with a 0.00 - 0.0 - 00 - 000 - 0,000 mL scale.)

But they're fairly expensive.

A friend was given a Klein Stein (http://www.kleinbottle.com/drinking_mug_klein_bottle.htm) for Christmas a couple years ago, and amused us all by filling the outer chamber up with coffee (and the attendant cream and sugar).

We were even more amused with watching him try to clean it out after.

Hey, I had the idea of selling Instant Water (http://www.livejournal.com/users/bride/86897.html) (byline: "just add water") =)

Y'know, I think I actually saw those on offer once.

Not quite as silly as it sounds if they have an accumulator (or whatever you call a rechargeable battery in English) inside, which you can charge up using the solar panel during sunlight and then discharge it at a later time giving light.

How about an oven with an ice cube maker, though? Or an inflatable washing machine?

Yeah, I know. But without that...

You get the washing machine; I'll do the oven. And we can go into business as Cadenza & Philip, Ltd. Or something.
