Yes! Because I absolutely must have my dream wedding even if I can't afford it!
That's why you should all PayForCynthiasWedding!
Um, yeah. $2000 for an engagement ring, for starters? Does it have to be that expensive?

There's a lot she can still cut back on, but the prices are fairly middle of the road. It's so middle of the road that it's easy to make up something like that just from getting price quotes around the internet. =)
Things cost money. That's the reality of it. But she hasn't tried very hard to really minimize the costs, I can tell you that much.
Re: $2000 engagement ring — they never actually show pictures of it, but if there's a diamond on it (like a solitaire), that's a low grade diamond. Or a synthetic diamond or a crystal. I'm just reciting fact here, I'm not putting any emotional or sentimental value on this. I'm using "low grade" as a technical term for the cut/clarity/caret/colour of the stone and absolutely does not equal "how much he loves her".
No, she won't go into cardiac arrest without a diamond. But, yes, that sounds about right for a diamond =)
Nothing wrong with it
