Konsequent heißt: Heute so, morgen so.

Inkonsequent heißt: Heute so, morgen so.

It rather depends on the intonation; roughly, "Konsequent heißt: heute so, morgen so. Inkonsequent heißt: heute so, morgen so."

Did you try reading it aloud?
The point is that the two "so" in the definition of "konsequent" mean the same thing: "Today this way, tomorrow this way", whereas in the definition of "konsequent" they mean different things "Today THIS way, tomorrow THAT way."
