ali_anarres is doing an interesting (I find) poll on LiveJournal etiquette (is it OK to email someone about a post where the disabled comments, is it OK to fill out a poll if you don't answer all questions, is it reasonable to expect people to lj-cut posts that contain FOO, etc.). Have a look!

Random thought

I wonder how many people are excited to find out that their favourite username isn't taken yet on LiveJournal, even though it's a fairly common word... and then to find out a week later that it's because they can't spell?
