Barry Trotter and the Parishioner of Tashkent

Stella and I will be going to the cinema to see Harry Potter today; I'll be leaving work early for it.

After picking up the reserved tickets in good time, we'll go have lunch at a nearby Subway's. Mmm, Subway's.

(Stella will be in the German version and I'll be in the English version—the way we've done all three episodes of LOTR as well. Fortunately, both versions start at the same time.)

Larry Slotter and the Prizewinner of Sokoban

Stella and I just got back from the cinema, were we watched Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban—she in German and I in English. (Strangely enough, the German version had a 15-minute break after 90 minutes, while the English one didn't.)

I thought it was fairly decent, except for one scene which taxed my suspension of disbelief somewhat, namely where Harry ( killed Hermione's pet rabbit in the microwave )

I'm not sure whether it's because it's been a while since I read the book and I don't clearly remember what's in it and what's not, or because I'm not much of a fangirl. But at any rate, I think not knowing the book so well contributed to my enjoyment of the film :)
