Happy Birthday Amy!

Amy turned one month last night :)

She didn't get any birthday presents from us but she gave me one this morning—( TMI )

State of the Amy

Stella was at the Mütterberatungsstelle (a state-sponsored institution place where mothers can receive advice and where they can also have the baby weighed and measured) today, and she says that Amy now weighs 3750 g (8 lb 4¼ oz) and measures 53 cm (20 7/8 in).

So she's gained 600 grammes since the second examination, and now weighs 410 g more than at birth—a respectable amount. (She also gained 350 g in two weeks, if the scales at the hospital and at the MBS are both to be trusted.)

An amusing phrase I read

At least, I found it amusing. May be triggery for people with ED.
