On the ninth day of February, the proxy says to me:

The following error was encountered:

(Only the HTML was even worse than that.)
First reaction: "Whatchu talkin' about, Willis?"
Second reaction: "Rats."

For example, a while back, Google Images (http://images.google.com/) was blocked as "Sex". Which kind of makes sense, since you can find sexual images there, but it's still difficult if I want to use it to find legitimate images.
And now they've blocked DeadJournal for providing "Extreme" content... again, there are probably extreme views in some of the journals, but blocking the whole service because of that? Seems a bit overkill to me.
On the other hand, I haven't got a legitimate work need for that site, so I can't really complain against them. (Though if they blocked the main Google search, that would interfere with work.)

Date: Monday, 9 February 2004 03:19 (UTC)Do you post many memes? Coz you could add me to that filter if you don't! (Meaning the "What/Which .... are you?" ones).
"What XYZ are you?" quizzes

Though I suppose a fair number of quizzes are memes, too. Bah, I don't know.
Anyway, I'll add you :) You can always be taken off later if you want.

But that's the same everywhere you've got thousands of users: there'll be weirdos.
