My new hard drive is so silent it's creepy.

There are some situations where I was really used to hearing a short rumble from my hard drive when it was reading from or writing to disk (for example, when closing my newsreader and having it purge deleted messages from the groups). And now, nothing -- or next to nothing. Bizarre (and I mean that in a good way) :D

Hehe, it's the same for me. I mean, my harddrive also makes sounds. When I get an e-mail, for example, it rumbles suddenly for some seconds. It rumbles, then I think "Oh, e-mails!" and go to my Outlook window. THEN they appear there and the e-mail notify sound can be heard. That's funny, hehe. :)
