New toy

We have a new digital camera—a Kodak DX6490 EasyShare, which my brother-in-law recommended to us.

We already had a bit of fun this morning playing around with it a little, shooting some pictures and a couple of short films.

I'll see if I can get hold of the printed manual; I do prefer having a real paper booklet in addition to (or even instead of) the PDF docs. We'll probably also want to get a memory card since the internal memory is only 16 MB and fits about 15 pictures at the default settings.

Ooh, I have one of those. I'm not sure if I have the exact same model, but I have a Kodak Easyshare. Yes, definitely get a memory card. It's so much better with one. You can also take much longer films, I think the limit is about 8 minutes with a memory card. Have fun playing with it!
