pneWent to stake conference today. I met the girl again who has this "she looks young but looks as if she's older than she looks" look, but I had forgotten her name again, so I asked her. (It's Naëmi Jäger, from Lauenburg branch.)

Date: Friday, 24 October 2003 03:53 (UTC)I believe Naemi (http://www.nathan.co.za/bibledeu.asp?chapter=233) or Naëmi is a variant of Naomi, a Hebrew name from the book of Ruth (http://scriptures.lds.org/ruth/1). I've also seen "Noomi" (http://www.bautz.de/bbkl/r/ruth.shtml) (another variant) as a name.
I don't know which of those forms is closest to the Hebrew original.
