Amy's been feeding just about every half-hour for the past three hours. I wonder whether this is preparation for the growth spurt which the midwife said comes at around the 10-day mark (which would be tomorrow).

Incidentally, when the midwife was here today to check up on Stella, she was impressed by how well she can sit, despite the episiotomy; the area is still swollen a bit but she seems to be healing well.

Still, it gets annoying and just a bit old to have her yammer every so often. I wonder what this night will be like.

That's growth spurt in the making, yes. :) Oh, and it only lasts 36 hours or so max. Just enough to get Stella's supply up to the new, bigger, improved Amy's needs. :)

She's been really sweet since last night at ten - she woke up at four in the morning and again at seven, so about like the night before.

Let's see what today will bring.

(By the way, one reason why she might have been cranky yesterday evening was that she was practically swimming in her nappy, as Stella found out while changing her. I think one reasons she didn't try that earlier is that if she changes Amy too soon after a feeding, she has a tendency to throw up.)
