Date: Thursday, 21 October 2004 08:06 (UTC)My son — who's now 6'3"/190 cm and 165 lb/75 kg — was 203/4" and 9 lb 2 oz at birth. And grew like a milk-fed pumpkin from there. (In fact, I called him "Pumpkin" for a while, 'cause his birthday is Oct. 23 and he had heavy jaundice for the first few days; let's see, round, orange, Hallowe'en.... %-)
Then I called him "Lump", 'cause hauling him around (primarily on buses in a Snugli, 'cause we didn't have a car then) was like hauling around a sack of potatoes. He was over 10 kg at 6 months, and over 15 kg at a year. Oy.
So enjoy the portability of your little darling while it lasts!
ObCoinkydink: My sister's name is Amy, too.
