Once More, With Feeling

I had ordered Season 6 of Buffy (well, half of it—episodes 1 to 11) from the public library, and we got a postcard yesterday telling us we could pick it up, which we did this morning.

So this afternoon, I watched Once More, With Feeling (episode 7): the one where people start bursting into song and dance, the musical one. 'Twas interesting. I had seen the soundtrack CD in the library previously but had never seen that episode on video before. Also had a look through the director's commentary and the behind-the-scenes documentary, as well as the karaoke tracks :)

Ah.

I haven't seen any of the other ones - I think I saw most of season one, but nothing later than that. (So I had a hard time at first with all the new characters - Tara and Dawn and Anya.)

Every single time I watch that episode I always get the songs stuck in my head for the LONGEST time! Especially Buffy's "Going through the motions" and Anya & Xander's songs. :D

Buffyite

Kind of :)

I got infected through London.pm (the London Perl Mongers), whose mailing list I joined a couple of years ago. Buffy, ponies, and pie feature fairly prominently on the mailing list, or at least did back then (Perl content was less common).

So I managed to get hold of some Buffy and watched it just to see what the fuss was all about.

My favourite character is Willow, especially the early-seasons Willow.

But yeah, I've only seen about one season of Buffy so I'm not very au fait with later bits of the series.
